Hampton Medical app for iPhone and iPad

Hampton Medical is an innovative application for home monitoring of patients with hypertension and subsequently at risk of pre-eclampsia during pregnancy. Allowing patients to monitor and record blood pressure and urine results, Hampton helps distinguish women who actually need to attend the hospital for further assessment from those who can monitor their blood pressure at home with routine follow-up with their midwife or hospital.

Patient’s results are submitted and analysed with pre-set thresholds. If the readings are ‘safe’, the patient is reassured and encouraged to continue home monitoring. If their results are abnormal the app asks them to contact their midwife or hospital.

The app is linked with a clinician portal that displays patient readings in real time.
